Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome has said police are pursuing suspects who killed 4 people at Riverside, Ruaraka constituency, Nairobi.
Koome said the culprits will be arrested and charged.
"The killers will be arrested and charged in court,” Koome said.
He assured that police have intensified patrols in the area to normalize the situation.
“Police patrols in Mathare area 4, area 2 and Babadogo have been heightened to restore peace", he added.
This comes after on Sunday morning, 4 people were killed in Ruaraka by unknown assailants.
The deceased bodies had gunshot wounds and deep panga cuts.
Ruaraka is perceived to be an opposition stronghold represented by ODM's MP TJ Kajwang.
The attack has been linked to ethnic clashes the claims Koome has denied.
NASA leader Raila Odinga is expected to visit the area later in the day.
