Opposition leader Raila Odinga has assured Kenyans that the National Super Alliance (NASA) will concede defeat if they lose in a free and fair election.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Trans Nzoia County on Thursday, Raila was however quick to point out that they will not accept a rigged poll.
"This time round we are wiser and the game will be tougher. Kenyans are tired of the Jubilee government. They should dare not try any monkey business in August," Raila said adding that they will have agents at all polling stations to guard against vote rigging.
The former Prime Minister cautioned Inspector-General of Police Joseph Boinnet against allowing police officers to be misused during the general elections slated for the 8th of August.
On Tuesday Raila claimed the Jubilee administration was training the military to act as electoral officers in order to facilitate rigging in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Deputy President William Ruto dismissed the opposition leaders allegations as 'noise', saying the military are professionals who should not be dragged into dirty politics.
Raila said the NASA government will restructure the provincial administration system, but assured locational chiefs and other officers that they will retain their jobs.
“We will also improve the working conditions of our police officers and pay them well,” the ODM leader pledged.
The NASA presidential candidate was accompanied by Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula, Siaya Senator James Orengo and other Opposition leaders.
