The ruling party is facing a re-energized opposition which it tipped for a mega alliance with few months to 2017 polls.

And speaking at Nyacheki ward on Sunday, Nyachae insisted that the Jubilee will continue ‘eating meat’ while the opposition salivates, popular remarks that were made by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I don’t see the opposition winning elections in this country because they are basically disorganised. They lack clear agenda for the nation and time has come for them to join the government,” said the aspiring Kisii County Senator.

Nyachae added: “We will continue eating meat while they will salivate as usual. Kenyans can simply differentiate politics of development from that of empty rhetoric by the opposition. That is an assurance and that’s why the community should remain in Jubilee.”

He urged Gusii leaders still in opposition to reconsider their stand and join the government for the sake of development.

“The president and his deputy are committed to seeing Gusii region thriving economically. Time has come for our friends in opposition to join us for the sake of development,” he said.
