A section of youths from Nyamira and Kisii have vowed to form another group in which they will use to counter Omogusii unity team which is lead by Senator Chris Obure.
According to them the politicians and leaders in Omogusii unity team have failed to address challenges facing the community.
Speaking to the press at a Kisii hotel Led by the John Otao their leader they said that the elected leaders have failed to transform the community more so in addressing challenges facing youths in the county hence it is ironical that they want to unify the community.
They added that most of the leaders in Omogusii unity team have been in power for more than 10 years but nothing so far they have done nothing.
“We are wondering how comes they are telling us that they are uniting the community so that they can help in development, what have they been doing for the many years they have been in office? said Otao.
They have vowed to form another group which will have all youths from both counties who will speak in one voice ahead of next general election.
But from Omogusii Unity team lead by Chris Obure they have been insisting that the team is all open to all members of the society including the youths who claim to be sidelined.
During the recent fundraising at Kenyenya, the team said that the Omogusii team does not discriminate anyone since each member in the society is an equal member.
“This group does not sideline anyone, we are equal stakeholders since we need to share ideas which will transform, our county," said Obure.
