Borabu Member of Parliament Ben Momanyi has said that the Constituency Development Fund kitty is going nowhere, as they are planning to make changes on the Constituency Development Fund Bill.
Speaking when he visited Nyamiranga and Monayo Secondary schools to open computer laboratories that cost Sh10 million each that were built in collaboration with Sotik Highland Company, Momanyi said that CDF money has done lots of developments in the grassroots.
“We the legislators are going to make changes to the CDF Bill and will remain to be because it has done a lot of developments for the people. If not for CDF, we would not have these computer labs here with us, and I want to urge you to ensure that there is development taking place around you,” he said.
He called on the people of the area to team up with him and help him continue with the development projects that he has started.
Momanyi also gave out Sh100,000 to Eturunge Dispensary to be used to buy chairs, tables and beds for the health facility, and added that if people want to get good services, then the hospital must have good facilities first.
