[Photo/citizentv.co.ke]The Council of Governors has promised not to take sides in the Jubilee-NASA political dispute.A committee with ten members has already been formed to bring the two political sides together in the spirit of mutual understanding and dialogue.Migori governor, Okoth Obado, confirmed that the work of facilitating dialogue had already begun and expressed hope that an understanding would be reached.''For the country to develop, there must be stability and peace. This is why governors are keen on intervening to the stalemate.'' Obado said.The Migori governor hailed Raila Odinga's decision to postpone his swearing-in as one that would create room for dialogue.''The notion that Raila postponed his swearing-in because of cowardice is nonsensical. I think it was the right thing as it will create room for dialogue.'' Obado said.He gave the assurance that the governors would be apolitical in their quest to encourage dialogue.
