Nyaribari Masaba Member of Parliament Elijah Moindi has now vowed to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and his team in 2017 polls.
Moindi who was elected on a Narc -Kenya ticket in 2013, said he was supporting Jubilee Party since it is poised to win next general elections.
The MP's support comes moments after his party leader and former constitution affairs Minister Martha Karua threw her support behind President Kenyatta contrary to the exceptions of political elites.
Speaking at Nyanguru on Sunday during a fund drive, Moindi said he was optimistic of a Jubilee Party victory despite stiff challenge from opposition team.
"I have been supporting Jubilee half way since my party was not supporting it fully through my party leader ,but now as she has declares her support, I am now fully behind it ," said Moindi.
Moindi added that being the party Secretary General in the region, he will ensure members of Kisii community backs Jubilee government.
"I thank my party leader Martha Karua for showing us the way to follow in the next general election," he added.
Moindi said that through development projects the National Government has initiated in his constituency, especially plans to tarmac roads in the region, it deserves a second term.
