A section of ODM supporters in Kitutu Chache South have vowed to prove NASA leader Raila Odinga wrong as they cast their vote for ODM aspirant Samuel Omwando in the ongoing by-elections.
According to some of those interviewed Samuel Omwando will emerge the winner despite the fact that Raila withdrew his support and vouched for fo Ford Kenya aspirant and former area MP Richard Onyonka.
Speaking few minutes after casting his vote at Daraja Mbili primary school Edwin Kenanda an ODM supporter said Omwando has a big chance of clinching the seat if IEBC carries free and fair elections.
"We came out in large numbers to ensure that we vote for Omwando and above all pass a message that we're independent and we don't believe in endorsement in order for him to win," said Kenanda.
Another Omwando supporter Irene Bichage also expressed her disappointment in Raila's decision to endorse Onyonka but showed confidence that the ODM aspirant will emerge victories.
"We've done our part and now let's wait for positive results on our ODM aspirant," said Bichage.
Currently, the voting process is ongoing despite the early challenges on KIEMS kits that was witnessed.
