Constituents of Bobaracho ward in Nyaribari Chache have promised to re-elect area MP Richard Tong'i citing that his development record is good since he took office in 2013.

Speaking on Sunday at Nyamemiso Central SDA Church during a fund drive that was presided over by the MP's wife Chiengata Tong'i, locals applauded the Tong'i's efforts to change the lives of constituents. 

"Tong'i should be sure of our support in 2017. Only his development record has enabled us to rally behind him for a second term," said Mosioma a resident. 

Mary Machana another resident said that through Tong'i's leadership in the constituency, people have been able to see the light as children are going to school, good roads have been constructed and maintained, good health facilities among other projects that the MP has initiated. 

She added that the constituency needs leaders like Tong'i who has prioritised the lives of the people who voted him in parliament. 

"We wish our MP good in all activities he is doing to transform lives. For the first time, Nyaribari Chache will have an MTC college, modern schools have been constructed, good roads and improved health facilities. We expect more from him in the years to come," noted Alfred Okeiga.
