A Member of parliament allied to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has said the party is willing to rig an election for a Raila Odinga presidency.
Lurambi MP Raphael Otaalo said the former prime minister has on two occasions seen victory snatched from him and the party won't sit and watch it happen again.
He also insisted that Raila must be on the ballot in the coming 2017 election.
“Raila will be on the ballot and ODM will this time round not just sit and watch our victory stolen. We shall also steal the votes if it means stealing,” Otaalo said as quoted by Star.
He also rubbished calls for Raila to back Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi for the presidency.
Raila’s supporters strongly believe that the opposition leader has failed to become president in the last two elections because his victory was snatched from him.
