National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Amolo Odinga stands no chance of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto in the fresh election.
According to Duale, Garissa Township MP, Jubilee will not only humiliate Raila, who is taking a fourth stab at the Presidency but also send him to political retirement.
The lawmaker, who is a strong defender of the Jubilee regime, also said that Raila has refused to retire from politics honorable but this time round he will have no choice.
“We are telling Raila Odinga celebrate now because in the next few weeks we will be sending him to where he belongs politically” he said as quoted by the Standard.
The legislator also said that Raila would have opted out of the contest for the sake of preserving his reputation.
The remarks of the Garissa MP come at a time when both Uhuru and Raila have hit campaign trails. The two leaders are confident of carrying the day following the nullification of August presidential election by the Supreme Court.
