President Uhuru Kenyatta has been accused of taking the coastal region for granted.

PNU vice chairman Sheikh Juma Ngao said that Uhuru does not reward his supporters but concentrates on making his political enemies happy.

Speaking to the Star on Tuesday, the cleric said that this alienation will be countered by denying Jubilee votes.

He accused the government of increasing the cost of living. He urged coast voters to support the Opposition.

“I decided to support NASA because life has become difficult for Kenyans. The price of maize flour has hit Sh200," Ngao told the Star on phone.

Ngao said President Uhuru rewarded his foes from Raila Odinga's side instead of appreciating his supporters. He pointed out ODM members late Joseph Nkaissery, CS Dan Kazungu, Mustafa Idd, Gideon Mung’aro, Zainab Chidzuga and Governor Salim Mvurya as political enemies who benefited from Uhburu’s rein.

“The dedicated government supporters were cast aside. He dumped them and does not even want to see them at State House,” Ngao said.
