Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu has said President Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn in for a second term on November 1 should Opposition coalition NASA fail to participate in the forthcoming presidential repeat polls.

Speaking in his constituency when he launched campaigns for the reelection of President Kenyatta, Ngunjiri said that the country is tired with the Opposition's constant demands.

He observed that should NASA fail to participate in the polls, Jubilee Party supporters will also oppose the nullification of the elections by the apex court.

"They have started mass action. Let them know that our silence does not mean we are afraid. We shall not stomach any other threat," he said.

"If Odinga does not want the rerun, we should also not accept nullification of the poll by the Supreme Court," he added.

The first time lawmaker further exuded confidence that President Kenyatta will emerge Victorious after the October 26 repeat polls.
