Opposition alliance NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has announced that the outfit will leave nothing to chance as they seek to unseat Jubilee Party during the forthcoming general elections.
In an interview with The Star Newspaper on Tuesday, the former Deputy Prime Minister promised the ruling party a grueling battle even as the elections date draw nigh.
Mudavadi, who is also the NASA National Campaign Committee chairman further revealed that the opposition has drawn an elaborate plan that seeks to counter Jubilee during the campaigns.
“We will take on Jubilee on the ground, in the air, and even at sea in the Unga Revolution,” he noted.
“Ours is called the NASA Armada, sparing no Jubilee remnants. We’re sweeping through the country in a strategy of the mole that burrows itself underground at the roots. That’s how easy it will be to fell Jubilee thunderously like a giant tree," he added.
He also reiterated NASA's commitment to ensure that the elections are not rigged.
“That’s how serious we are against stealing the vote by Jubilee. Our resources are the people. You’ll be surprised how our in-tray is overflowing with creative ideas from all levels and status of Kenyans. They’re volunteering ideas and their time,” he stated.
