[Photo: La Voix du Nord]Kiambu voters have vowed to teach Nasa flag bearer Raila Odinga a lifetime lesson after the Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the August 8 presidential election was null and void.A fresh presidential poll must be conducted in 60 days time after Supreme Court ruling.Residents from President Uhuru Kenyatta's home turf said that the ruling was not in favour of the Kenyan voter but was determined by politics."I queued to vote from as early as 3am and voted for my favourite candidates. Now my decision and the decision of many other voters have been declared null and void. It was not a fair judgment to us voters," resident John Njau said on Friday as quoted by the Star.Jane Kamau, a trader, said it does not matter how many times Kenyans go back to the ballot as President Uhuru Kenyatta will still win. "We will still come out in large numbers to vote for Kenyatta. It does not matter what the court says," she said. However, residents said having another election will put the country in a precarious situation since there is no money and business slowing down."People have no money, we’re struggling to make ends meet and this ruling will make Kenyans more desperate," resident Peter Kinyanjui said.Residents advised Uhuru not to campaign in Kiambu saying his votes were intact but instead campaign in opposition areas.
