Former Senate Minority leader Moses Wetang'ula on Saturday declared war on National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga over what he termed as utter betrayal from the former Premier.
Addressing teachers in Chwele during an annual delegates meeting of the Ngarisha Sacco, he faulted Raila Odinga over his decision to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta without their knowledge and his removal as minority leader in the Senate.
"We have regrouped to teach you a lesson," he said, adding that the trio had re-group to take Raila and Uhuru head on.
"Despite us fighting relentlessly and some people losing their lives, the subsequent conduct of our presidential candidate is not only shocking but a betrayal of the highest order, " he said.
The Bungoma Senator further said that the Other NASA co-principals would make Raila's union with President Uhuru Kenyatta very uncomfortable.
"Let him keep off NASA affairs and concentrate on his new relationship with Jubilee, we are ready to move forward," he said.
Wetang'ula said that, while Raila had always thought that Jubilee were his rivals, he will be shocked that the Other NASA principals he betrayed will be the ones to end his political career.
Wetangula criticized ODM party for spreading the propaganda that the three principals skipped the Raila swearing-in ceremony on January 30.
"It is Raila who had told us to stay away, it is wrong for us to be labeled cowards for missing the ceremony because after all, it had no meaning," he said.
On 2022 presidential race, Wetangula called upon the Luhya community to unite against Raila and instead back either him or Musalia Mudavadi.
"Let him forget about the Luhya community support saying he had the support because Musalia and himself were in NASA," he said.
