Kiambu county governor Ferdinand Waititu has said Jubilee will stop a scheme by the opposition, NASA to delay the planned October 26 repeat of presidential poll.

According to Waititu, the National Super Alliance leaders are not interested in the election.

"No scheme by opposition presidential candidate Raila Odinga shall succeed this time as were are alert", Waititu said.

He noted that opposition's endless demands will not delay the polls and urged IEBC to put everything in place ahead of the polls.

"If opposition won't participate in the repeat of poll, then Uhuru will be the president unopposed. He will be sworn in the country to move on", he added.

Waititu expressed confidence that president Uhuru will win with a bigger margin against the opposition in the repeat of presidential election on October 26.
