Kericho senator Aoron Cheruiyot has expressed optimism that Jubilee party will be re-elected in the upcoming general election.
Speaking Tuesday after being cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to seek re-election, the senator said Jubilee party would clinch all the seats in every constituency in the Rift Valley region.
“We have what it takes to win all the six slots starting from the presidency down to MCA,” Cheruiyot said.
He added that all Jubilee nominees in the Rift Valley region will meet in Sosiot Sports Groung, Belgut sub-county, on Saturday to plan the way forward ahead of the August elections.
Also cleared to contest for the Kericho senatorial seat was Kanu’s David Mutai.
