NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has said the opposition will not take 'another two-minute' ruling by the Supreme Court.
This was in reference to the presidential petition challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.
The Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader said that in 2013, the Opposition was let down by the court after the then Chief Justice Willy Mutunga dismissed the petition in a ruling delivered in less than five minutes.
Mudavadi said that the country's hopes are anchored on Chief Justice David Maraga to ensure he oversees a free and fair hearing of the case.
"We feel passionately that justice will be served this time round because we have a tight case presented to the court," Mudavadi said during the swearing-in ceremony of Vihiga Governor Wilbur Ottichilo at Kidundu grounds.
