The Wiper Opposition has ruled out removing the name of Kalonzo's son Kennedy Musyoka from the list submitted for the East African Legislation Assembly (EALA) job.
The Wiper National Executive Committee on Wednesday met and agreed not to replace the young Kalonzo whose inclusion in the Cord EALA list has raised eyebrows.
“Our understanding of the law is that our list is final. We hold the position that no more names will be provided apart from the ones already submitted,” said Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar.
Minority whip Thomas Mwadeghu on Monday resubmitted Abubakar Zein, Ronald Ngeny, Judith Pareno and Kennedy’s names.
Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula included Caroline Aluoch to the party's list.
This comes after National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale opposed the inclusion of Musyoka son.
Omar maintained that the party will not take orders from the Jubilee Party on whom to nominate for the EALA jobs.
“There are people who want revenge against Pareno after failing in the ODM nominations,” he said.
