Machakos nurses union members have vowed to soldier on with an industrial action that has entered 94th day today even as the Government extended an olive branch to the medics to heed cry of the suffering Kenyans and go back to work.

Speaking at a press conference at Machakos town on Friday, the union’s branch top brass reaffirmed that they are ready for dialogue with the government as long as their 2012 CBA demands are achieved.

The branch Secretary General Halima Aden has blamed the government for giving deaf ears to their plights saying that innocent Kenyan’s will keep on suffering.

Her sediments were echoed by branch chairman Henry Kilemi saying that they will keep on the strike until Government heeds to their quest.
