Narok residents have been told to exercise extra caution as heavy rains continue to pound the county.
Heavy rains flooded the town on Saturday, destroying a market.
The locals are now calling on the county government to open the clogged drainage system to enable the free flow of water.
The rains on Saturday swept a market, causing destruction worth millions and rendered roads impassable.
Narok deputy County Commissioner Ronald Mwiwawi is now urging residents to be extremely cautious especially those who are located in the valley in Narok Town.
Wiwawi, however, notes that the government has put in measures to ensure there is no loss of lives as witnessed in the past.
Weather forecasts suggest that heavy rains and flash floods could be experienced in Narok in the coming week increasing river levels, leading to flooding of low-lying land and roads.
