Ford Kenya party leader and Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula has welcomed Amani leader Musalia Mudavadi to the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy(CORD), so that together the opposition can form a super force that will drive the ruling Jubilee leadership out of office in the next polls.
Wetangula, who was speaking during the closure of the Bukusu Council of Elders Seminar in Mabanga Agricultyural Training Institute on Saturday has further endorsed the formation of the super alliance, saying that the people are tired of the Jubilee administration and the alliance will be the best way to go.
"I welcome my brother Mudavadi to CORD so that we can form a force to reckon with we have to ensure that Jubilee administration is sent parking, we can't tolerate tribalism and corruption that has rocked their administration, we are tired," he was quoted by the Nation.
The CORD co-principal has also revealed that the alliance formation (National Super Alliance) talks are at an advanced stage and called upon all the other parties involved to let him fly its flag in the next polls saying that he has been in the politics field long enough to be the president further saying that he stands the best chance to beat the UhuRuto team.
"Am ripe enough, having been in politics for long and understanding this country's terrain very well I stand the chance to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto hands down," he said
Kiminini law maker Chris Wamalwa who was also present has called upon Cord supporters to register as voters in large numbers ahead of the polls.
Some of the reasons why the leaders want Jubilee out include corruption and public fund misappropriation.
