The MCAs have threatened to cause mayhem in the UhuRuto-led political outfit if the party does not reserve a Secretary General position for them.

The county legislators drawn from the New Ford Kenya party claim that their party was the first to dissolve to form Jubilee and hence it would only be fair if they are given the Secretary General position.

Led by the Bungoma County Assembly Majority leader Henry Nyongesa, the 25 leaders stated that they would not accept anything less than the position of SG.

"We will ensure that we get the seat of the Secretary General because we were the first party to close our house and move into the new home, the Jubilee Party," he said.

New Ford Kenya is among the many parties that dissolved to form Jubilee Party, an outfit that President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto want to use as a vehicle to State House in the 2017 polls.
