The outspoken Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has maintained that the opposition will play its role of correcting the government.
He stated that they will not shy away from telling Kenyans about Jubilee's alleged fake promises.
The ODM deputy party leader said the party will not relent in its push for better governance.
Speaking in Kawangware, Nairobi, the flamboyant governor warned President Uhuru Kenyatta against using anger to evade addressing the plight of Kenyans.
He further asked Jubilee to show what development they have brought to Kenyans in the four years they have been in power.
Joho advised President Kenyatta to behave like a sitting president, adding that the government should concentrate on fulfilling its promises to Kenyans other than constantly dismissing the opposition.
"Our party rejects anger and tantrums that hide real issues as Kenyans continue to suffer from the current government," said Joho.
The Mombasa governor said Jubilee must respond to the opposition's questions satisfactorily.
"We will always remind Kenyans that the Jubilee government has failed to achieve even half of its 2013 lofty pledges," he added.
The governor was responding to President Uhuru's speech at Ntimama's burial, where he said, “Wachana na nyumba yangu ya Jubilee. Nyinyi mkitafuta kiti sisi tumekalia. Endeleeni kumeza mate sisi tukila nyama."
