According to Kalonzo, businessman Juma had an idea of who stole the billions of shillings and always spoke fearlessly concerning the matter.

Kalonzo who spoke during Juma's burial in Bungoma County on Saturday, said Juma’s killers wanted to not only silence him, but also keep the truth away from the poor Kenyans.

‘Kenyans demand to know the truth. Accountability should be embraced. Killing Juma because of speaking the truth will not help. We will not stop pushing to know the real thieves,’ said the Cord co-principal.

He called on Kenyans not to keep quiet saying this affects them and could soon lead to further problems.

‘Every child who will be born will be required to pay a debt of Sh79,000. We as Kenyans should not sleep. Let us push to know the truth of how the money meant for the development of this country has been used. The thieves want to masquerade as investors from the Arab nation to bail out chase bank so that their money can be brought back home - in the Kenyan economy,’ he added.

Cord leader Raila claims some of the Eurobond monies is missing.
