Residents of Nyamira County have been assured that there are enough measures and resources in place to sustain the agriculture sector.
According to Governor John Nyagarama, his government has allocated more funds to promote the sector.
Speaking on Friday at Rigoma ward in Kitutu Masaba constituency to mark the World Food Day, Nyangarama assured residents that his government will continue supporting them to boost agriculture.
“My government will continue supporting farmers so that we can ensure that our pillar remains supportive to us,” said Nyagarama
He added that his government initiated the artificial insemination project as part of efforts to promote dairy farming.
Meanwhile, the Governor said he will collaborate with the national government to serve wananchi.
“We always work with the national government to make sure that we are serving our people for a better future,” said Nyagarama
