Dressed in Orange caps, scarfs and T-Shirts they came out of Kisii Cultural hall after having a three hour brainstorming delegates meeting they chanted ODM slogans saying the party is strong and its roots are deep and won’t be unearthed from the region any soon, they peacefully matched in all streets as they showed disregard to the recently held “Otamba Declaration”.

This comes shortly after a team of Gusii region leaders led by the Kitutu Chache South legislature Richard Onyonka, Kisii County Senator Chris Obure, Former CIC chair Charles Nyachae, and Kisii County deputy Governor Joash Maangi were hosted in State House over what is alleged to be a plot to woo Gusii community to Join Jubilee party.

Residents have since then become rebels to those leaders saying it’s enough for they have been used repeatedly by leaders who in return mint money or get personal favors after each election.

“We’re not ready to be cheaply auctioned like potatoes perishing in the next minute”, Dennis Gwaro a student leader said.”

“As youths, we’re regrouping and soon will unveil our strategic plan on the future of youths in Gusii region,” General Maish added.

They have since then dared those who were elected through the ODM party to resign and seek fresh mandate and re-election through the Jubilee party of which they have promised to teach them to respect through the ballot.
