[Photo|ODM]NASA leader Raila Odinga expressed disappointment after police disrupted his grand welcome from the United States on Friday.Raila who left the country on November 8, returned on Friday at 11 am but police disrupted his welcome with tear gas canisters, blocked roads and prevented the leaders from making an address at Uhuru Park and Kibra' Kamukunji grounds. However after getting an opportunity to address supporters at Upper Hill where his convoy made a stopover, Odinga said he was very angry with President Uhuru Kenyatta."Today I am very angry. My anger is to this young man called Uhuru Kenyatta and his (William) Ruto. I went abroad and I have now returned. Uhuru knew where I was, didn't he? And I came with good news to you as Kenyans.""... instead of welcoming me humbly, he sends police to hurl tear gas canisters at me, to beat my people, to shoot at my supporters. This is inhumanity!" said Raila as he addressed supporters, Friday evening. However, Raila also said something that left Kenyans wondering what exactly he meant. He said he was launching a "third republic" and that Friday's developments showed it all."Today is the day we are launching Kenya as a third republic. What you have seen is a signal that a third liberation is coming soon. Canaan is near. Bye to Uhuru," Raila said.He did not add any explanation about the third republic but said he would explain and give details later.Even though the message seemed to bypass many Kenyans, Kenyans on social media talked about it and asked Kenyatta's Jubilee administration to brace for tough times. Some linked it to the ongoing secession talk, where Homa Bay Township MP Peter Kaluma has drafted a Bill to define Kenya's territory and split it into two, separating 40 counties from the 47, due to alleged marginalization and Jubilee government's intimidation to the people.
