A group of leaders from the Gikuyu, Embu and Meru communities (GEMA) in the North Rift and Western Kenya is up in arms over what they claim is them being sidelined by the Jubilee administration.Led by the Uasin Gishu County GEMA coordinator Paul Kimani and his Kakamega counterpart Rev Stephen Njoroge Chege, the group laments that despite contributing to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto's reelection, they were being ignored.Addressing the press in Eldoret town on Thursday, the leaders that they were in the process of writing a memorandum to the President asking him to convene a meeting with them so that they can raise their issues."As North Rift and Western diaspora, we have not been invited by President Kenyatta to State House. We are only used as voting machines and dumped after the elections," Kimani lamented.The group further asked for the inclusion in the much awaited public appointments."We campaigned for the re-election of President Kenyatta and his Deputy in each and every part of the North Rift and Western Kenya. We are telling them to remember us and our children when they do their appointments," said Rev.
