Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr has demanded thorough probe on alleged hackers of the IEBC servers, saying they manipulated results.
The Wiper lawmaker who has retained his seat in the elections held Tuesday, said IEBC should welcome international foreign IT experts and investigators, to help unravel the mystery behind presidential results, which have been in favour of Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking after he was declared the winner with 311,552 votes (96.46%), Mutula further said Kenyans were ready to go back to the ballot, to elect the president, if investigations reveal persons who altered the results.
According to him, voters endured long queues to choose leaders of their choice, and should not be denied whoever they voted for, as their leader.
"Kenyans are ready and willing to go back to the polling stations to elect the president. We can not accept that the results being streamed in are true. We are ready for a repeat," he said, Wednesday evening.
IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba dismissed claims that servers were hacked, but confirmed that there were attempts, as voting was going on, Tuesday.
Mutula's closest rival Peter Maundu, had 7,507 votes (2.32%).
