The National Super Alliance (Nasa) took its campaigns to the vast Trans Nzoia County, Thursday.
The host governor, Ford Kenya's Patrick Khaemba welcomed the brigade to his county, as they traversed several areas, rallying support for the coalition.
Led by presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, and Siaya senator Jmes Orengo, asked residents to forget about Jubilee Party.
Raila accused the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led administration, of stealing from the tax payer, citing various scandals witnessed in his governmnet.
Raila said Nasa was ready to send Uhuru's team home, come August 8, and called on residents in the North Rift county, to help Nasa achieve this.
"It is morning, and the cock has crowed thrice. It is time to wake up and head to work. The work of sending thieves home. Kenyans are determined. They have a reason and capability of sending Jubilee home. Jubilee has sabotaged our economy. The cost of living has risen. We can not afford milk, Unga and maize," said Raila, amid "Ndio Baba" (yes Raila) cheers from the crowd.
Addressing supporters, Raila slammed the Jubilee administration after it imported several tonnes of maize from Mexico.
According to him, the government declined to buy maize at a price that farmers in the region asked for, citing budget constrains, only to spend more in imports, to benefit only a few in government.
