Uasin Gishu county government will be seeking to better its performance from last year's inter-county games (KICOSCA) in which they finished second overall.The county's athletics team also took the first position in the tournament that was held in Kiambu County last year.Speaking when he flagged off various teams that will be representing the county in the weeklong games, Deputy governor Daniel Chemno asked the teams to focus on doing the best to fly high the county's name."Uasin Gishu County is a brand. Our logo is 'the champions’, we need to come out and defend it competitively," Chemno told the teams on Friday at the county headquarters in Eldoret town."To achieve this you need to continue with practice so that you keep fit and sharpen skills in the respective games you are involved in," he added.The county will be represented by 15 teams led by the County Public Service Board Chairman Joseph Tanui who is the Head of Delegation.KICOSCA games will be held in Machakos County. from 19th to 26th November.
