Opposition coalition NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed Jubilee Party's attempts to make inroads into the vote-rich Western Kenya region ahead of the August polls.
In an interview with Citizen Digital, the ANC Party leader maintained that the region is firmly in the opposition, exuding confidence that locals will overwhelmingly vote for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
He further added that the outfit is determined to stamp its authority in the region, as they gear up for a series of political meetings through this week.
“I know that Jubilee has been campaigning for some days now in the region but I want to assure our supporters that the region remains under NASA and will vote as a block,” he stated.
He further accused the Jubilee adminstration of neglecting the Luhya Community through their four and half years tenure.
“Why are they doing this now, where were they? They are using public resources to bribe Kenyans and this should be condemned,” he said.
