Three Members of Parliament from Kakamega county have vowed to stand with their newly chosen party Jubilee into the next general elections despite pressure from their supporters.
Mumias East legislator Benjamin Washiali, Navakholo’s Emanuel Wangwe and Ikolomani’s Bernard Shinali have said that their decision to enter the 2017 elections on a Jubilee ticket was not going to change.
“Like a hunter who goes wandering in the wilderness in anticipation of killing a big game, I will remain firm and focused in Jubilee,” said Washiali.
Wangwe and Shinali also showed agreement with Washiali and said that their joining Jubilee was not only going to benefit the people of Kakamega County but also the former Western province as a whole.
