The football wizards, who also happen to be the log leaders, saw themselves drop important points in their match day 15th fixture that was played on 6 the May.

Makumbi has now said that the loss of points was brought about by low level kind of professionalism in the refereeing that was aimed at killing his side.

“We need to completely forget about what happened on Sunday back in Mombasa. It was very evident that the referee was against us from the word go. Nevertheless, we have good players and definitely we are going to do our best in the next match," said Makumbi.

“It is heart- breaking that we are still experiencing such situations in the game, but if you have been in this field for as long as I have, then you have to work tirelessly and focus on the next game," he added.

Stima are at the top of the league and have been on a good run; scoring goals, winning matches and playing beautifully.

The Kisumu-based side will be welcoming fourth placed Nairobi Stima on Sunday 13th May at the Moi stadium.
