Kisumu based Western Stima, will open the 2018 National Super League (NSL) campaign against coast based side Modern Coast Rangers.

The match will be played at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, on February 11, 2017, according to Football Kenya Federation (FKF) 2018 NSL fixtures released on Thursday.

Another Kisumu county based side Muhoroni Youth FC will play against KCB at the Camp Toyoyo Stadium in Nairobi on the same day, while Kakamega High School soccer team (Green Commandoes) will face off with Coast Stima at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

Green Commandoes got a ticket to participate in the 2018 NSL, after leading the 2017 FKF division 1 Zone B league.

Western Stima and Muhoroni Youth were relegated from the Kenya Premier League (KPL) after finishing the 2017 season in the second last and last positions respectively.

The 2018 FKF National Super League will kick off on February 10, 2018; with the final matches of the season will be played on November 4, 2018. The league will comprise of 20 teams.

Kisumu based side Palos FC who finished eighth in the 2017 NSL season, had earlier communicated their withdrawal from the 2018 league.  Their slot will be filled by a team to be named in due course.

2018 NSL matches will be hosted at the Camp Toyoyo Grounds; Hope Center and Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Sher Karuturi in Naivasha, Narok Stadium, Moi Stadium in Kisumu, Bomu Grounds and Mbaraki Grounds in Mombasa, Sudi Stadium in Bungoma, Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret, Awendo Stadium, Muhoroni Stadium, Afraha Stadium in Nakuru and Thika sub-county Stadium.
