The Jubilee administration has been accused of sidelining Nyamira County in terms of development since they came to power in 2013.
According to Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula, the Uhuru Kenyatta-led government hasn't delivered any single promise they gave to residents including upgrading major markets in the area, adding that it’s high time the residents voted him out.
Speaking on Sunday when he visited Nyamira County to campaign and open an office, Wetangula, the Senate minority leader ,said he will ensure that he develops the region if elected president come 2017.
“I love this region and I would like to bring more development once elected. I therefore, call on each one of you to ensure that he votes for me come 2017,” the Bungoma Senator added.
Wetangula was accompanied by Ford-K deputy party and Kakamega Senator and Boni Khalwale.
