NASA principal and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has come to appeal to his supporters over the debacle of Raila Odinga's swearing-in.
Trouble started on Tuesday when Wetangule and other NASA leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi failed to appear at the swearing-in on their leader Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
Rumour mills then began doing rounds to the effect that NASA had broken and that Wetangula was no longer together with other coalition leaders in unity.
The Ford Kenya leader has however said that is not true, appealing to his followers to remain calm as he prepares a full report to give to them.
Together with his deputy Boni Khalwale, Wetangula said they were in NASA to stay.
“Let our supporters give us time. By end of Friday, they will get answers to what is happening,” Wetang’ula said.
Khalwale on his part said their party will continue to fight for Kenyans to the end.
“We are prepared and we will continue to fight for the Constitution. I stand by sentiments made by my party leader. Swearing in Raila is a step ahead in furthering our agenda,” he said.
