Nasa co-principal, Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula has slammed former Tanzanian Prime Minister Edward Lowassa.

This is after he endorsed President Uhuru Kenyatta, to the people of the Maa community, during the burial of the Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Ole Nkaissery Saturday July 15, at his Ilbisil home, in Kajiado County.

Lowassa hailed the Maasai community in Kenya, saying they should vote for Kenyatta in the August 8, polls, so as to complete the development projects in their region.

This however did not go well with Wetangula. He attacked the former premier, saying the Maa did not need someone to tell them who to vote for.

He noted that Nasa had already taken root in both Kajiado and Narok counties, which are largely occupied by the Maasai, and that Uhuru and his Jubilee party would not get support from the Maa community.

Speaking during Nasa rally in Homa Bay County, Monday, Wetangula asked Lowassa to mind politics of his country, and leave Kenyan politics, to kenyan themselves.
