NASA co-principal and Bungoma senator, Moses Wetangula has called for the sacking of NTSA Francis Meja and his team citing two horrific accidents that befell the country this week. 

Wetangula faulted NTSA for chasing the truck that reportedly lost control and rammed into other vehicles in Sachangwan and another where 19 others had died in Kamukuywa bridge in Bungoma county when a matatu rammed into a truck.

"The CEO's act of justifying his officers action is reckless and if he cannot reconsider his position he should be sacked forthwith because he has proved time and again to be unable to handle his responsibilities," Wetangula said.

NTSA have officers continued to shelve blame from themselves saying that there quick Intervention along the Nakuru-Salgaa-Sachangwan road has saved a lot of lives.

NTSA CEO has since said that they received information from a hawker along the Salgaa stretch that a truck going downhill had lost its breaks prompting NTSA to dispatch it's officials with sirens to clear the way. 

One Officers in their vehicle was warning motorists that a truck had lost control and they should move out of the way. 

Speaking during Jamhuri Day Celebrations, President Kenyatta regretted the carnages on kenyan roads and called on motorists to exercise caution and observe road safety especially during this festive season.

Atleast 80people have been killed on the roads in the last four days
