[Photo/kenyans.co.ke]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) principal Moses Wetangula has dared the Acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i to prosecute Nasa's CEO Norman Magaya.Matiang'i in a press briefing on Thursday in Nairobi, warned that Magaya would be charged with destruction of property during the Nasa's anti-IEBC demonstrations since he was the organiser of the demos.Wetangula alongside other opposition leaders have defended Magaya and warned Matiang'i that he will be held responsible if anything happens to Nasa's CEO.“Magaya issued notice of a demonstration to the police for the sole object of getting the relevant agencies to provide security. Once such a notification is given, the burden shifts to the police to provide security to both the demonstrators and the general public,” said Wetangula in a press briefing at Okoa Kenya secretariat, Thursday."We dare him (Matiang'i) here and now as Nasa. We have a huddle of lawyers who are better than any lawyer that Jubilee has on their side. Let him take Magaya and we will be there and show them what the law says and the law protects Kenyans," noted the Bungoma senator. He added, "Mr. Matiang'i you are not above the law and you better know that you are in charge of this authority."
