Speaking on Sunday at a fundraiser at Kegonga Catholic church in Migori, the senator said that the opposition chief had already had enough unsuccessful shots at the presidency and should let another person to go for it in 2017.

This comes at time the coalition stands undecided on its flag-bearer and the running mate for the next elections with all the three principals expressing their interest and will to have their name on the ballot paper.

The leaders are also under pressure from their supporters who are threatening to disown the coalition if they fail to make it to the coalition's top position.

However, 4 proposals have been made by a special committee to guide the coalition on choosing its next flag-bearer.

The first states that the block could maintain its last poll's structure considering the fact that they never won so nothing changes.

The second states that Kalonzo be named the candidate, Raila the running mate and Wetangula the possible Majority Leader.

There is also an option that Kalonzo flies the flag with Wetangula the running mate and Raila their advisor.

Last of the options is that stating that Raila vies backed up by Amani National Coalition (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi.
