Ford Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula has disowned party member and Trans Nzoia governor Patrick Khaemba.

According to Wetangula, a Cord co-principal, governor Khaemba has failed to adhere to laid down party regulations.

Wetangula's announcement was made by two interim Secretary Generals, Edward Munabi and James Wanabisi.

Khaemba has been accused of neglecting important party matters since he was elected into office in 2013.

Early this week, Khaemba was accused of scouting for another party that he will allegedly use to seek re-election in 2017
