The National Super Alliance co-principal Moses Wetang’ula has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of launching a scathing attack on Chief Justice David Maraga and the Supreme Court Judges that nullified his re-election.

Speaking when NASA took its campaigns to Kisii and Nyamira counties on Tuesday, Wetang’ula asked Uhuru to respect the principle of separation of powers as enshrined in the constitution.

The Bungoma Senator said instead of the Head of State attacking the Judiciary for making a ruling in favor of the ‘majority’ of Kenyans, Uhuru should strike his deputy William Ruto, who according to Wetang’ula, is a ‘crook’.

“Uhuru swore to protect the Constitution but he is doing the opposite by attacking other arms of the government. He should respect Justice Maraga. Maraga is not a crook. He [Uhuru] walks with Ruto, who is a crook,” he said, as quoted by the Star.

Wetang’ula who was accompanied by his co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi told the Jubilee leaders to prepare to vacate office in 60 days.

“They had stolen our victory as the Supreme Court observed. There will be no rigging in the repeat election. Uhuru must go to Gatundu and Ruto to Sugoi,” the Senator said.
