Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has hit out opposition chief Raila Odinga for calling him a coward for missing the 'swearing-in' on January 30.
Speaking on Saturday, Wetangula said that it was an insult from Raila over an event that had no meaning.
He said that Raila will not walk scot free over the insult stating that it was ironic for Raila to insult him yet he secretly went to Harambee House.
"Them calling us cowards because we did not attend an oath that has no meaning is totally disrespectful. He told us to stay away and come to his rescue when things go bad but now he has turned against us," he said.
He revealed that it was Raila's proposal that the three leaders skip the meeting and informed them that should anything go wrong, they should come to his rescue.
Wetangula who was in Chwele, Bungoma County stated that it was Raila's plan to paint other principals in bad light.
The Bungoma senator was on Tuesday ousted as the Senate Minority leader and replaced by Siaya Senator James Orengo.
Wetangula claims that Raila was being the ouster.
