National Super Alliance (NASA)  co-principal Moses Wetang’ula now claims there is a Jubilee mole in Bungoma gubernatorial contest.

Wetang'ula, who is also the Bungoma Senator, has accused the ODM candidate, Alfred Khang’ati, of being a Jubilee mole.

Speaking after a meeting with Ford Kenya election agents in Bungoma, the Senator claimed Khang’ati was being financed by Jubilee Party to ensure Ford Kenya candidate, Wycliffe Wangamati, does not clinch the governorship.

“Khang’ati is a Jubilee mole who is being paid to by our enemies to weaken our candidate so that Ford Kenya does not win the seat,” said Wetang’ula.

He urged area residents to reject Khang’ati and elect Ford Kenya candidates for the various elective seats so the party can have bargaining power in the Opposition alliance- NASA.

In a swift rejoinder, Bungoma ODM secretary Majimbo Okumu dismissed Wetang’ula claims, accusing him of spreading propaganda.

" Ford Kenya has sensed defeat in the August polls and now they have resulted to mudslinging and name calling. They should know we are ready for them on the ballot," said Okumu.
