Garissa township MP and the leader of Majority in the Nation Assembly Aden Duale has called on Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) to strip former Senate Leader of Minority Moses Wetangula off the former privileges and powers that came with the post.Duale asked the PSC to withdraw the government vehicles issued to the Bungoma senator since the opposition team has not yet nominated leaders to both the senate and the National Assembly.Speaking in parliament on Thursday, the Jubilee MP said he had seen Wetang'ula still using his official vehicle yet he had not been named as the minority leader in the 12th Parliament."I have seen Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula still using the GK vehicle assigned to him when he was the minority leader. We want you to give a ruling on why he and other leaders are still enjoying these privileges," said Duale."Nobody should enjoy facilities of Parliament unless they are appointed," he added.Duale further noted that the Ford-Kenya leader should be barred from accessing the Senate Minority Leader office within Parliament Buildings. The Opposition has maintained that NASA legislators will boycott parliamentary proceedings because parliament is illegally constituted.
