A Nyamira Member of Parliament has labeled Cord co-principal Moses Wetangula a Jubilee mole, and challenged Former Premier Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka to drop their partnership with him.
The Ford Kenya party leader has recently been involved a series of political activities which culminated in ugly presidential launching ceremony at Kakamega in which Orange Democratic Movement supporters and their Ford Kenya counterparts engaged in physical fights.
North Mugirango MP Charles Geni has thrown a scathing attack to Wetangula accusing him of working secretly with Jubilee operatives to dwindle fortunes of Cord in Western zone.
“I know what’s going on but few are ready to talk about it. My friend Moses Wetangula is a Jubilee mole and he knows the mission he has been sent to do,” Geni told the reporter on Wednesday.
“He has been working secretly with our rivals to neutralize the coalition’s influence Western by popularizing Ford Kenya instead of Cord coalition in general,” he said condemning the recent remarks by Wetangula where he challenged Western Kenya leaders to join Ford Kenya from ODM.
Geni also claimed Wetangula had been promised to be Speaker of the Senate or Majority leader if he decamps to Jubilee in final stages towards 2017 polls.
‘I want my brothers Raila and Kalonzo to know they are working with a traitor. He has been promised speaker of the senate and Majority leader though the final deal hasn’t been finalized. They want him to incite Luhya against Cord and ditch in final moments for Jubilee,” he added.
Geni is a close confidant of Raila Odinga and his remarks hints why possibly Odinga skipped Wetangula’s presidential launch late hours after confirming his attendance.
