Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has said that there is no leader who will influence the National Super Alliance( NASA) choice of flag bearer ahead of the August general election. Speaking in Kisii while receiving MP Richard Onyonka who defected from ODM to Ford Kenya, Wetangula said that the opposition still has time to deliberate on whom to pick as their flag bearer, adding the leaders should remain focused."There is enough time and nobody should dictate to us the choice of the NASA flag bearer. We are partners and at the same time competitors within the alliance but we must remain focused and determined to achieve our goal of removing Jubilee from power," said Wetangula, as quoted by Star.Wetangula also took a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto terming him a political hyena."Ruto is suffering from the hyena syndrome. He is like a hyena following us all the way salivating as he waits to see if a hand falls for him to eat," he added. Wetangula’s remarks come at a time when both the opposition and Jubilee are camping in different parts of the nation to woo residents to support them in the forthcoming general elections.
